[ Next Daily ] SC Holdings, a Specialist in Exporting Cosmetics to Amazon, Enhances Cosmetics Regulatory Services

SC Holdings (CEO Cheon Se-chang), a company specializing in exporting domestic cosmetics to Amazon.com, Amazon Canada, and Amazon Japan, announced that it will enhance its regulatory services for cosmetics in key Amazon markets.

With the implementation of the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) in the U.S. in July 2024, and the strengthened regulations on cosmetics by Japan’s MHLW (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) and PDMA (Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency) in 2023, many cosmetics brands entering Amazon.com and Amazon Japan are facing significant challenges.

SC Holdings, a company with ten years of experience selling cosmetics on Amazon since 2015, has long had a team capable of independently obtaining U.S. FDA certification. The company has established a system to obtain FDA OTC (Over-The-Counter) certification, allowing it to provide services for selling sunscreen products, which now face higher entry barriers for U.S. export.

A representative from SC Holdings stated, "We have teams specializing in obtaining and clearing regulatory approvals from Japan’s MHLW and Health Canada, giving us expertise in entering Amazon Japan and Amazon Canada."
