[Seoul Economic TV] PingPong, SAYGO, and SC Holdings Sign MOU to Innovate Korea-Japan E-commerce Logistics
[Seoul Economic TV = Reporter Park Soo-yeol] Global commerce finance platform PingPong announced on January 15 that it signed a three-party memorandum of understanding (MOU) with global logistics company SAYGO and Japan-focused fulfillment provider SC Holdings on December 4 at PingPong’ headquarters in Samseong-dong, Seoul. The agreement aims to strengthen cross-border e-commerce logistics capabilities between Korea and Japan.
Through this partnership, the three companies plan to combine their expertise to offer unprecedented support to domestic sellers. PingPong will provide newly onboarded sellers with competitive, low settlement fees, while SAYGO will apply special shipping rates in Japan, significantly lower than existing charges, reducing cost burdens for sellers. SC Holdings, overseeing overall logistics operations, will manage the entire fulfillment process—from order management systems (OMS) to picking, packing, shipping, customs clearance, and customer service (CS)—ensuring a stable logistics environment under strict quality assurance standards.
The three companies plan to support not only consumer goods companies seeking to enter the Japanese market but also those already operating there, enabling them to easily access accurate Japan-oriented 3PL logistics services. This collaboration will allow companies lacking specialized knowledge in Japanese exports to benefit from a comprehensive logistics system covering everything from export declaration support to local fulfillment operations. Sellers will be able to manage all stages—from market entry preparation to customs clearance and local delivery—through a one-stop solution, maximizing operational efficiency.
Industry experts view this MOU as a significant milestone that could resolve logistics bottlenecks between Korea and Japan and lower entry barriers for Korean sellers in the Japanese market. Detailed information about the Japan-oriented 3PL services provided through this partnership is available on each company’s website, and service applications can also be submitted via the respective official websites.
