[ SEGYEBIZ ] PingPong, SAYGO, and SC Holdings Sign Tripartite MOU to Enhance Japan E-commerce Logistics Competitiveness

Global commerce payment platform PingPong, Japan-based logistics specialist SAYGO, and Japan market fulfillment service operator SC Holdings announced on the 17th that they signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 4, 2025, at PingPong’s office in Samseong-dong, Seoul. The agreement aims to strengthen logistics efficiency for cross-border e-commerce between Korea and Japan.

Under the partnership, PingPong will introduce preferential fee policies tailored for sellers newly entering the Japanese market, while SAYGO will provide a dedicated rate structure designed to reduce costs associated with domestic delivery processes within Japan.

SC Holdings will oversee the full spectrum of Japan-bound fulfillment operations, including integrated OMS management, outbound shipping, customs clearance, and customer support (CS). The company will also operate a quality assurance system based on Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

In particular, this MOU focuses on enabling sellers with limited experience in the Japanese market to enter without the need for extensive prior preparation. By providing end-to-end support for complex procedures—such as export declaration and customs documentation, as well as logistics execution within Japan—the three companies aim to create an environment in which sellers can focus solely on product readiness.

The companies stated that this agreement is expected to make cross-border commerce logistics between Korea and Japan more stable and predictable.
